Terms of Services

By booking an appointment with JRTS Tax Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Service Agreement:
     

    • JRTS provides tax preparation, filing, planning, and consultation services. The scope of services will be discussed during your appointment, and any additional services may incur extra fees, which will be communicated upfront.

    • We do not guarantee specific tax outcomes, as results depend on individual circumstances and applicable tax laws.
       

  2. Client Responsibilities:
     

    • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the booking process and consultation, including personal details, financial records, and any relevant documentation.

    • For virtual appointments, you are responsible for ensuring a working device, internet connection, and a quiet environment for the session.
       

  3. Payment Terms:
     

    • Appointment fees are due at the time of booking for online payments. For in-person payments, fees must be settled at the time of the appointment.

    • Additional services requested during the consultation (e.g., extended filing support) will be billed separately, and payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.
       

  4. Confidentiality:
     

    • JRTS is committed to protecting your privacy. All personal and financial information shared with us will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing tax services, in accordance with Canadian privacy laws.

    • We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
       

  5. Liability:
     

    • JRTS is not liable for any errors or omissions in your tax filings resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.

    • We are not responsible for technical issues (e.g., internet outages) that may disrupt virtual appointments. In such cases, we will reschedule your session at no additional cost.
       

  6. Cancellation & Refund Policy:
     

    • Refunds for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment will be processed within 5–7 business days, minus a $10 administrative fee.

    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment or for no-shows.
       

  7. Changes to Terms:
     

    • JRTS reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the updated terms will apply to all bookings made after the change date.

Booking Policy

Booking Policy for JRTS Tax Services

At JRTS, we strive to provide a seamless and efficient booking experience for our clients. Please review our booking policy below to ensure a smooth process:
 

  1. Appointment Scheduling: Appointments can be booked online for both virtual and in-person sessions. Once a time slot is booked, it will be removed from the calendar to prevent double bookings.

    • Virtual Appointments: Available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, until April 29, 2025.

    • In-Person Appointments: Available Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, until April 30, 2025.
       

  2. Confirmation: After booking, you will receive a confirmation email to the address provided, and a copy will be sent to jruthtax@gmail.com. Please ensure your email address is correct.
     

  3. Cancellations & Rescheduling:

    • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment. You can manage your booking by contacting us at jruthtax@gmail.com or calling us directly.

    • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee of $25.
       

  4. Payment: The full appointment fee (if applicable) must be paid online at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards. For clients opting for in-person payment, please notify us in advance.
     

  5. Late Arrivals: If you arrive late to your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you, but the session may need to be shortened to respect the next client’s time slot.
     

  6. Virtual Meeting Requirements: For virtual appointments, please ensure you have a stable internet connection and access to your preferred method (video chat or phone call). A meeting link or phone number will be provided in your confirmation email.
     

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible, and we will work with you to find a suitable alternative time.
